Educated Image

Have you…

  • Had no idea what to say or do when meeting new people for work?
  • Spent a business dinner worrying more about using the right utensil than the conversation?
  • Walked into a business function either under or overdressed? Did you even know you were dressed incorrectly for the situation?

We’ve all experienced embarrassing gaffes in the workplace. The Educated Image workshops will provide attendees with tangible techniques to make the most of every business situation.

Space is limited, register online (links below) and avoid missing these valuable workshops.

Dining Dining Etiquette - October 2011

At this sold out event participants enjoyed a delicious 4 course meal at the Hotel Macdonald where they  learned how to make their dining interactions polished and productive.  Tips from the evening  included:

  • It is OK to tip your soup bowl to get out every last drop as long as you tip the bowl away from you
  • Salt and pepper should always be passed together (even if someone only asks for the salt) – think of them as a married couple
  • Food should be passed counterclockwise at a table
  • When toasting, be sure to look a person in the  eye (vs staring at your glass)
